MALAYSIAN SLANGS

Question : hi jasmin, i'm doing a coursework given by my lecturer about diff malaysian slangs. what are the meaning of these words "lopek", "doh", "liao" and how to use them. if you wouldn't mind, give me more slangs, thank you. p/s: you're pretty

Whoa... Isn't it weird to make your coursework through formspring? Might as well meet me in person right?? Well theres nothing much I can say about Malaysian slangs because its too normal and we use it everyday. I say aiya all the time.. I think.... Slangs are just slangs. Im not sure if their meanings to some of them.. It just somehow completes our sentence. Malaysia kan? Sorry if Im not much of a help.

This is one of the best formspring question that I have so far for this month.


So my answer is sorta not relevant.
Sorry to the person who ask me this question but I sure hope he/she will do a good job on the assignment! 
After reading this question again and I think this is gonna be interesting to write about.
I remembered theres this guy who shout out loud to his friend "EH DEI~!!'' 
So I was like, what is dei?? Oh, should've known its just another ordinary slang. N so the next day, I called my friend dei. Hahaaa. 


As you know, us Malaysians. Were really special don't you think? 
Its true, were different from the others and our ENGLISH are pretty outstanding.. 
In a way I'm sure you know what I meant about "outstanding" because at the very end of our sentence (mostly) there is always a lah. It may be called a term and also in Chinese I guess that's where LAH is came from. Malaysia is a multi racial country and we always mix a lot of multi race stuff all together.


Its like the backbone of our English. Hahahaa. Its so common that even we don't care about it. 
Because thats how we speak! I wouldn't say originality but slangs happen to be a part of us and we use it a lot.
Like AIYA, that is when we say OH NO or OH MAN this is not good.


It is preferably called Manglish and the reason why we start using slangs are because we Malaysians have various types of language, BM, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil etc. We bottle a lot of things up.

It is because of the other language, our English is pretty much been mix by it and so thats why its called Manglish. 
But basically it is also called rojak. Rojak is in BM by the way. (Bahasa Melayu).


But at least our pronunciation is not that bad either. 
To me, I think that theres no explanation or why must we use the slang so much.
Because it is what we use and we love using it. Its something common and normal too.


Just like the quote, Were different because were special :)

JUSTICE

Do we still serve for justice?

 Or at least making things better for each and everyone of us nowadays?

Must it always end up with hatred and revenge? 

Why no love anymore?

I know right, you would be thinking 

"this is bullshit".

Sometimes, I just feel so disappointed with humanity these days, especially the shallow ones. 

Oh you know what I mean, the ones who doesn't actually think before they speak and it disappoint me so much because it is always ending up with hating each other and thinking that their better than one another.

 Its so endless. I mean, give it a rest already. 

Theres many more better things to do and to think about.

Unless your REALLY that shallow and competitive.

If your so competitive, at least compete with the ones who are worth to be compete with.

Its no point winning all the time, loosing makes you learn more. 

I'm facing shits, so I might be talking shits as well but at least for what I think.

I realize that a fair game play doesn't exist anymore or at least no biasness would be nice.

If its so hard then why follow your ego?

Nobody is perfect and we have the right to actually stand up for something. Right?  

Well theres bias everywhere now and that is a huge mess up. 

Everybody are screw ups at the end of the day. Hahaa kidding. - See I'm talking shits.

Because the world has gone for greed and much more unpleasant things. 

It seems that being good is bad and whatever you do is never enough or maybe you've been cheated on. 

But that doesn't mean we cant stop it. 

Why not use our moral values and filling up our satisfactions by doing some good deeds?

Its better that way. Because people will like you and when people like you

DON'T YOU WANNA EARN SOME RESPECT INSTEAD? 

Think about it.

EMOTION

As you all know, I love kids. Who doesn't? Well if you don't,

THAT'S JUST WRONG.

Its really a joy when you see kids smile, I feel great working with kids.

I like listening to them and how they think having so much fun is important.

It makes my day and I'm happy for that.

I have a nice childhood, a very beautiful one and 

I remembered how Christina Aguilera always makes me feel pretty. 

That everything is gonna be alright. Because you don't tend to think about anything so much.

The most important thing is you. 

KIDS are the new faces of the world, well at least I think so. 

I don't need disagreements on that either. I just feel its true.

Yea I know, I'M SORRY.

Its been a long, well I wouldn't say a decade time since I've updated.

I'm back to blogging. FOR REAL.

Because this blog deserves the attention.

 I still do have many request on certain blog posts ideas. Thank you I appreciate it.

I'm just too lazy before and now I would want to change and make sure that I respond back to your requests and maybe MUCH more of the little notes and quotes 

on which I think its inspiring and maybe writing stories here too. 

I love writing. I love reading. I still do, and I will always do.

There's just so many things all of the sudden and I do wish to blog about everything

 but I wouldn't wanna be drama, well I was acting drama and after what I did, I realize that I was feeling selfish for myself and I was self centered of some certain things that I'm not satisfied about. We just gotta know that we don't always get what we want. I guess I forgot about how blessed and grateful I am to have everything and I feel that to repay what I did. I should make a fresh new start.

 I've been so passionate these days. I've been helpful and I've been sacrificing a lot of my time for someone who is well to say, a part of my family. First off, I feel that the only way to live a good life is to do something nice for someone and that someone would do something nice for you back. 

No matter how big or small the token is. Appreciate it, or else you just wont feel good. 

I feel like as if there are a million of emoticons in me now.

I'm just so happy. Well, its good to be happy.
